Building on the concepts covered in the previous live meeting, this one moves into ‘ternary’ territory by exploring triplet-based rhythms to play on the left-side floor tom. So now you are also opening up not only physically and melodically, but also rhythmically! These rhythms make a lot of sense in a Bembe vibe, and later on adding the bass drum into the fill in a linear fashion makes for a very hip sound that’s sure to inspire you!
