El Presidente is the first joint piece by Claus and Claudio. It laid the foundation for their book Taladiddle — Konnakol meets Rudimental Drumming, which led to further collaboration with Claudio at Open Minded Drumming. The korvai in this piece displays a fascinating geometric form - called Koraippu Korvai. Koraippu is the Tamil word for ’reduction’.
