This live practice session offers a unique approach to creating rhythmic content in 7/8 based on modified clave structures. Perhaps not the most orthodox approach to creating such grooves, but certainly an interesting approach, particularly because it may allow you to be free from having to count to 7 the whole time. Rather, feel the shape of the base rhythm, and work on adding the different hi-hat structures on top. Such an approach is one Claus has used previously with the group Flux, and now you can try your hand at it too!
