This live meeting is all about creating different rhythmic possibilities and ideas using 2 simple, accessible rudiments: The Double Drag Tap (aka Tagwacht) and the classic 5-Stroke Roll.

Using these rudiments, one can find many ideas to build their vocabulary on the snare drum, as well as around the kit. Claus takes you step by step through the process of collapsing and expanding them into triplets, 16th notes, 32nd notes and even quintuplets and septuplets! With demonstrations on how to apply these to the drum set, as well as some ideas for foot ostinatos one might include, there is something in this lesson for drummers of all skill levels!
