In this case Claus takes you through the Single Ratamacue, Final of 7, Final using 7-Stroke Roll, and 9-Stroke Roll through the Swiss Rudimental lens. Based on a quintuplet grid and adding an extra double stroke within each beat, one can easily work on these rudiments simultaneously in an easily digestible format while understanding the link between each sticking. This lesson also covers the option of expanding the note distances in each rudiment to create a ‘pyramid’ of subdivisions from 6 up to 9 notes per beat further challenging your rhythmic awareness!
